Want an awesome side for a bbq dish? How about a topping for that pulled pork sandwich. If you’re bored with traditional slaw recipes, pull this one out of the hat. It’s a hit every time! Tons of flavor, just enough kick and a little bit of sweet!
Chipotle Slaw

- SALAD
- Half a red/purple cabbage finely slices
- One Carrot Shredded
- Half a bunch cilatro finely shop
- 1/2 cup spring onions chopped
- 1 Cup Pepitas (sprouts sells green chile and sriracha flavor that are BOMB with this dish. Otherwise plain works)
- DRESSING
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1 Clove of crushed garlic
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons chipotle sauce from canned chipotle peppers
- 2 Teaspoons honey
Instructions
- Combine the dressing ingredients in a large bowl and whisk until creamy
- Add the veggies into the bowl and toss well
- Serve as a side, or on top of smoked meat on a bun

When you're buying cabbage you can ask the produce department at your grocery store to cut you a half cabbage.
